About us
The Legacy Project Arts Inc. is a Los Angeles based organization whose mission is to provide supplemental services and funding to community programs. As a 501c3 non profit that supports youth arts and academics, economic development in poor areas, and greener living, The Legacy Project encourages it's participants and contributers to engage in volunteerism, and involvement in community organization. The Legacy Project is about meeting, creating, and networking. By focusing on people’s intrinsic talents as artists, skilled laborers, business managers, etc..., we seek to create opportunities for those that are economically less fortunate, and wish to participate in civic growth. We are committed to continually identifying the circumstances that perpetuate poverty, and designing methods to systematically work towards ending those economic and social roles.
Recycling For A Reason
Currently, we are working to impact environmental sustainability in the city of Los Angeles by providing recycling services to residential buildings and businesses. Through cooperation with several colleges, and under the daily supervision of Legacy Project staff, this program will serve as employment for students struggling with finances. Primarily, proceeds from this program will support efforts to reduce homelessness, create green projects, and increase education opportunities..
